Support RJI

Sponsor a Volunteer

RJI's volunteers have made tremendous sacrifices to be in the West Bank. They have left jobs, homes, friends and family to live where they are most needed, despite the serious physical, emotional and mental risks involved. By providing our volunteers the means to rent an apartment, eat and travel, you enable them to focus on the tasks at hand and dedicate themselves to making our world a more peaceful place, without the uncertainty of how they will manage their most basic needs.

Please support our volunteers with a montly pledge. Any amount makes a remarkable difference. Thank you for being a part of this and helping our volunteers to continue doing the work they love. Click on the links below to set up a secure, automatic donation with Paypal.

At this time, RJI is requesting financial support in order to foster our initiative and develop our abilities to maintain a sustainable, permanent presence in the West Bank and other regions of conflict. Our core belief is that no matter our resources, we always have enough to take a single step forward. Our first goal is to open the Nablus Open Media Center , a fully equipped media training and production facility that will provide students and activists in Nablus the tools they need to produce and edit educational films, radio programs and photographic exhibitions. Thus far, our project has been funded through personal savings, individual donations and the voluntary contributions of dedicated professionals and activists. Donations help to defray the costs of:

  • International travel
  • Local travel
  • Rent and utilities
  • Food
  • Internet access (including web hosting and HTML newsletter services)
  • Media equipment (cameras, computers, video tapes, external hard drives for editing, etc.)

As a new partner in the Alliance for Global Justice, we now have the ability to offer donors tax exemption for their contributions as a Not-for-Profit organization recognized by the IRS. Donors wishing to take advantage of our tax exempt status should make their checks payable to the Alliance for Global Justice and include the Research Journalism Initiative in the description.

As required by the Alliance for Global Justice, we will provide detailed accounting reports including income and expense records which will be publicly available to all of our benefactors. For more specific information about the costs associated with our activities, and the required resources to develop our projects, please contact Mark Turner.

RJI accepts checks or secure credit card payments made through Paypal.
