03/18/07– Nablus, Old City

Israeli Occupation Forces invaded Balata Refugee Camp near Nablus for the fourth consecutive night with jeeps and armored bulldozers. The incursions have typically begun around 9:30pm and lasted several hours as soldiers drive throughout the camp, throwing percussion grenades and firing live ammunition at residents' homes. Israeli military sources reported a soldier was lightly wounded by shrapnel when a home made explosive detonated near a jeep. No abductions were reported.
